12.08.2026 – Positive Engagement Between BPEF and Department of Posts on Organisational Reforms

A very positive, cordial and constructive discussion was held at Dak Bhavan between the Secretary General, BPEF, along with all General Secretaries of the Federation, and the Secretary(Posts), Member (Personnel) and DDG (P) on the important issues of re-balancing of administrative units and re-designing the organisational structure of the Department of Posts.

The Secretary, Posts appreciated the valuable suggestions put forward by the BPEF Secretary General in the presence of senior officers. He welcomed the proposals and assured that the recommendations submitted by the Federation would be given due consideration for implementation.

The Department also responded positively to various proposals and suggestions placed by the Federation and assured that necessary steps would be taken in this regard.

The interaction was cordial, meaningful and highly constructive, reflecting the Department’s willingness to consider genuine suggestions aimed at better administration, improved efficiency and the welfare of employees.

BPEF remains committed to raising constructive and practical suggestions in the larger interest of the Department and its employees.
